Better Together Fitness Challenge – Time to Buddy Up

Freestyle Fitness is known for its challenges – unlimited fitness classes for eight full weeks, a realistic and easy-to-follow nutrition plan and all the instructor support, encouragement and assistance you need along the way. Check out what some of our past challengers have to say:

Here’s the deal: it’s eight weeks of classes – we want you hitting four to six classes a week, alternating resistance (our Total Body and thirty-minute Fighters) and cardio (the very best kickboxing in town) when you can – and a serious commitment to our nutrition plan. It’s not rocket science, and you know what they say: you can’t out-exercise a bad diet. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, fitness is 90% diet. So while you’re not going ON a diet, you need to come into this challenge with the understanding that diet matters. High quality protein, good complex carbs, enough calories, avoid the processed crap and lots and lots of water – that’s it in a nutshell.

Everything begins Saturday, April 18 at ten am. We’ll conduct a brief fitness assessment, take your measurements and weigh you. This is your baseline. Then we’ll walk you through the next eight weeks – what you can expect and what we expect of you. Our nutritionist will be there to answer questions right out of the gate, and we’ll go over our general plan of attack. We’ll repeat fitness assessments and measurements at the four-week mark to track your progress and again at the challenge wrap-up to see how far you’ve come.

Along the way, we’ll have special events like nutrition seminars, yoga and cardio jams, and our instructors will be on hand to help you however you need it. Kickboxing 101, exercise or combo modifications, pop talks, whatever you need, we’re here to make this challenge work for you.

The buddy aspect of Better Together is pretty awesome. We find challengers always sign up with a friend or two anyway, and this time, we’re going to reward you for it. Having a friend to keep you accountable – to make sure you’re getting to class when you say you’re going – to be by your side when you’re feeling a little nervous at orientation (you know it’s true!), and to be clueless beside you in your first few classes makes everything that much better.
