We’re accepting challengers for Resolve to Evolve ’16, our first challenge of the New Year. You have questions? Good, because we have answers.
1. What is Resolve to Evolve ’16? Is it a one-day challenge?
Resolve to Evolve ’16 is our annual January fitness challenge, and no, it’s not a one-day thig – it’s eight weeks of unlimited classes, special events, an eating plan, access to a real live nutritionist, an awesome community and more. By signing up before our start date of January 23 at ten a.m., you’re securing your spot in the program, which gets you unlimited classes – we’re talking Throwdown, our heavy bag kickboxing class, Total Body, our boot camp class, Kardio Kombat, our classic cardio kickboxing, and our thirty-minute Fighter Physique, which is interval resistance training.
2. I haven’t been working out at all/I run – sometimes/I’m hit or miss at the gym/My diet sucks – will I be able to hang?
It’ll be tough, no lie. But no matter how fit you are (or aren’t) right now, Resolve to Evolve is an awesome way to start the new year. Everything in our classes can be modified to suit beginners all the way up to elite athletes, which means everyone is welcome. It’s supposed to be challenging – we’re going to make you sweat, boost your heart rate, get your lungs moving and your blood pumping and your muscles growing.
If your diet sucks now, you’re in luck. Our favorite nutritionist, Gina Gilbert-Green of Definition Wellness, wrote our nutrition plan herself. Plus, she’ll be at our orientation and on call throughout the eight-week program to answer your questions and help you dial things in. She’s a proponent of the real foods in the real world school, meaning her plan is a realistic and effective method of tackling what is absolutely the hardest part to the weight loss puzzle. Use her to your advantage. Ask her questions, and listen carefully to her answers. She’s worth her weight in gold.
3. So what do I need to do?
You have to sign up now to reserve your spot. If you use that form, we’ll call you to confirm your reservation. Or starting Monday, January 4, you can call the front desk after 3 pm at 746-3888 and say you’re joining the January fitness challenge. They’ll run your card over the phone and you’re in. Then get ready for January 23, when you’ll show up at ten am in comfy workout clothes for orientation and your first assessment. After that, the work begins.
4. How much?
$225. But hey, it’s still the holiday season – the first 15 challengers save $100. We’re signing people up fast, and that $100 savings will only be available to a few more lucky people. After that, you’re paying the full price of $225, unless you can talk a friend into joining with you. Then you both save $50.
For perspective, one month of unlimited classes is $79. By joining with a friend, you’re getting a pretty sweet deal – you’ll get everything we have to offer in the way of fitness classes, the nutrition plan, special events and seminars, lots of guidance along the way, AND you’ll get the benefit of a reduced membership price at Freestyle Fitness after the challenge ends.
5. I’m freaking out! Can I really do this?
Yes. Deep breath. You can do this. It’s a challenge, obviously, but it’s definitely doable. And if you’re serious about changing your lifestyle and habits, giving up the crappy diet, feeling those endorphins, this is how you do it. It’s really that simple.
Stop thinking. Sign up now, and snag one of the last few $100 off passes.
