Say what? We see you, challengers, wide-eyed in class, and we’re giving you a big ol’ virtual hug. Our fitness classes are no joke, and cardio kickboxing probably has the steepest learning curve of them all. But we got ‘choo! We’re hosting TWO special sessions on Friday, October 2 to bring you up to speed.
Join us Friday morning from 6:30 to 7 am, and again in the evening from 5:30 to 6 pm for technique classes covering the following:
- Basic kickboxing combos, plus a slowed-down break down of the individual punches, kicks and knees that make up all combos in all classes
- Proper technique for heavy bag work
- Modifications to accommodate anyone working through injuries or just an off day
- Tips to prevent injury and get the most effective workouts
If you’re feeling lost in any of our classes, these classes are for you. Remember, everyone starts at the bottom. Every single person has had that deer-in-the-headlights look in their first kickboxing class, when the instructors shouts out some combo that may as well be in Greek and everyone starts moving except you. The only way to improve? Keep going. Keep moving. Keep coming to class. We promise, it gets better, and it’s a fine day indeed when you realize that not only did you understand what the instructor just said, you know how to do it.
