Some crazy percentage of all New Year’s resolutions involve health and fitness. It makes perfect sense – we get one go-round on this rollercoaster ride, and it only serves us to take care of ourselves along the way. But brace for a horrible statistic – by January 21, the majority of us will have already given up on that shiny resolution we made just three weeks prior. Insert facepalm here.
Now consider this. It’s said that thirty days of repetitive behavior become a habit. And since motivation is an emotion, which means that by its very nature, it’s prone to waxing and waning, it’s no wonder that all our New Year’s gung-ho fades by the third week of January.
So here’s how to make that health and wellness goal stick this year. Join the Rebelution fitness challenge at Freestyle Fitness. By doing so, you’re committing to thirty days of nutrition, of at least six fitness classes every week, to a community of supportive, motivating and fun folks, and to laying the groundwork we all so desperately need for healthy habits. It’ll cost you $140, or $120 if you join with a friend. For that price, you’ll get unlimited classes for thirty days, a solid nutrition plan created exclusively for us by the nutrition experts at BFF Cafe, a weekly challenger email, a supportive online community, and an even more supportive real-life community on the mats.
The challenge begins Saturday with orientation at 9:30 am. We’ll take your measurements, run you through a simple fitness assessment so we have a baseline for your improvement over the following 30 days, go over the nutrition plan, share promo codes for BFF Cafe, Ice Age Meals and Grateful Gardens (score!) and answer any and all questions.
Our 30-day fitness challenges are fun, effective, intense and you’ll feel like a million bucks when you hit day 30. We offer incentives to help you get to class – hit 24 classes during the challenge, which averages to six classes a week (tough but definitely doable), and you’ll earn a free month of unlimited classes when things are all said and done.
Whether you’re straight off the couch, coming back from an injury or a cute new baby, or you consider yourself pretty active and fit, our classes will challenge – and change – you. We can modify everything so that you’re always working out at the right intensity.
Stop wishing for better health, and start doing something to make it happen. Consistent, conscious movement and real nutrition are the right way to improve your health and fitness – full stop. There is no magic skinny tea, no juice cleanse, no detoxifying program that will make any lasting changes. There is no quick fix. And we aren’t promising enormous weight loss in thirty days. But we are promising that by sticking to the nutrition plan and coming to class regularly, you’ll start building positive habits and you’ll notice things like better sleep, more energy, more self confidence and a general feeling of improved happiness. Endorphins, yo!
Join the challenge. Make a change. Do it now.
