5 Q&As about the Better Together Fitness Challenge

Freestyle Fitness’ second challenge of the year, Better Together, is over one month away, and we’re already signing people up (those people are awesome). We’re also fielding questions about the challenge, and we’re going to share all that valuable info with you right here, right now.

Better Together is the second fitness challenge of 2015 at Freestyle Fitness. We’re accepting challengers now, and when you sign up, you’re reserving your spot for eight full weeks of unlimited fitness classes. Those include Kardio Kombat (cardio kickboxing), Total Body (a sixty-minute resistance-based class) and our thirty-minute Fighter Physique (an interval-based MMA-inspired conditioning class). But that’s not alllll! You know what they say – you can’t out-exercise a bad diet – so nutrition is the cornerstone of this (and any) successful fitness program. And our nutrition plan is legit. It’s a straightforward, no BS, no magic bullet-hawking plan that is realistic and totally doable. Promise. You also get instructor support and assistance every step of the way.

Buddying up is what makes this challenge better together. Our challengers love working out with friends, so this time we’re rewarding that behavior. Sign up with a friend and you’ll both save 25% off the challenge price. Sign up with two or more friends, and everyone saves 50%.

2. Do I need to be super fit to participate in this challenge?

No. But understand that our classes are designed to challenge everyone from the elite athlete all the way down to the newbie. That means they’re tough. The beauty of all our classes is that everything can be modified.

Everyone coming into our challenge has a different goal. Maybe you’re super fit, you run five miles every day and you’re ready to try something new (great idea, btw – cross-training is always awesome). Maybe you’re sick of being stuck in a fitness rut. Maybe you want to fit into a certain pair of jeans. Maybe you want to run a faster mile or finally be strong enough to knock out a few chin-ups. Whatever your goals, wherever you currently are, our fitness challenge is a brilliant place to start.

3. How do I sign up? And then what happens?

We make it easy – sign up online, give us a call after 3 pm at 775.746.3888 or come on down after 3 and check the place out in person. Then you’ll show up at 10 am on Saturday, April 18, in workout clothes for orientation and your first fitness assessment. And then you’ll come back four to six times a week to get your sweat on.

Typically, a fitness challenge at Freestyle runs $198. But the “better together” theme is about more than buddying up for accountability. Save some coin and do this with a friend – you’ll both get the full challenge for $149. But wait, it gets better. Sign up with two or more friends and everyone gets the full eight weeks for $99. That’s unlimited fitness classes, the nutrition plan, special challenge events like yoga, cardio jam and nutrition seminars, lots of hands-on guidance along the way, and a reduced membership price at Freestyle Fitness after the challenge wraps.

5. How can I talk my friends into this?
