Our next 30-day challenge kicks off this Sunday with orientation at 10 am (there’s still time to join, but quit dallying and reserve your spot right now!). We’re no strangers to fitness challenges, but 30 Days to the Holidaze follows our 30-day format, and there’s one key difference to the other kind of challenge for which we’re known.
If you’re guessing it’s the timeline that’s different – good call. Technically, there are two key differences. But besides the shortened time span – a quick and dirty 30 days instead of our usual eight weeks – there’s one component to 30 Days to the Holidaze that’s really a game changer. This time, we have a meal-by-meal, day-by-day eating plan that is the very definition of clean eating.
And here’s the thing – you have to stick to the meal plan. With a 30-day challenge like Holidaze, every last bite is going to count. Seriously. So buck up, dig in and eat for fuel. Look at it like this – this is 30 days to lose the cravings, re-train your body to recognize the good stuff and develop excellent eating and prep habits. If you’re eating properly, you can really expect to see changes in 30 days – benefits like more energy, better sleep and a better state of mind.
This takes some commitment on your end. Prep your meals for the week, and you’re setting yourself up for success. The meal plan is simple – clean eating that doesn’t sacrifice flavor. But do yourself a favor and make time to prep what you can/should for the week so you aren’t struggling with low blood sugar and/or starving children.
Trust us, prepping makes a huge difference. If you just can’t get it together, take advantage of our challengers-only 20% promo code for fuel packs at BFF Cafe, or pick up 14 meals for $100 at Ice Age Meals. You can swap out any lunch/dinner recipe for a fuel pack with veggies and protein or any Ice Age Meal.
So the meal plan is a big deal, but so is this: 30 Days to the Holidaze is an incentive-based fitness challenge. Guess that’s three key difference. Moving on.Hit 24 classes in 30 days, and you get a free month of unlimited fitness classes. So pull out the calendar, check out the fitness schedule, and make it happen! Schedule workouts like you would appointments, and treat with them the same priority. Six classes a week is a lot, but for four weeks, you can do it.
30 Days to the Holidaze is a fitness challenge, and challenge is the operative word. It’s not supposed to be easy. You’re trying to achieve something, better yourself, change bad habits, learn new habits, treat yourself properly, curb cravings, reduce alcohol consumption, and respect yourself and your body. We have so many Freestyle Fitness members jumping on board, and we want you to be part of it! Stop debating, find a friend to join you and sign up now.
Remember, the challenge starts Sunday, October 23 at 10 am. Unlimited classes, a comprehensive nutrition plan, killer discounts to great local eateries that won’t throw you off the eating plan, a locked challenger Facebook page, a weekly email to keep you on task and a chance at a free month.
