Resolve to Evolve Fitness Challenge – That’s a Wrap!

freestyle-fitness-reno-resolve-to-evolveEight weeks ago, we kicked off Freestyle Fitness’ very first challenge of 2015. Resolve to Evolve had over fifty participants ready to
hit the ground running – eight weeks of resistance and cardio training backed up by a solid nutrition plan created by the one and only Gina Gilbert Green. Last Saturday, we completed final fitness assessments and signed up a bunch of challengers for spanking new Freestyle Fitness memberships. Yessss.

Here’s what happens with a fitness challenge, no matter who’s hosting it. People sign up. The first week is awesome. The second week is hard but still awesome. And by the third/fourth/fifth week and on until the end, the numbers start to dip. Injuries, life changes, excuse/excuse/excuse – the bottom line is that not everyone who starts is going to finish. And Resolve to Evolve was no different. But the overwhelming feedback we got from the challengers who committed to these past eight weeks was PHENOMENAL. People were pumped about the atmosphere, the environment, the trainers, the nutrition plan, the methodology and the patented, no B.S. plan we’ve always followed. Wait – patented, no B.S. plan? What’s that, you say? Oh, it’s just our straight-shootin’, real-deal approach to fitness which can be summed up by this simple equation: consistent exercise + adequate nutrition = results. Period. Full stop. We aren’t hawking supplements or protein powders or get-skinny-quick pills or the latest, trendiest exercise fad sweeping the nation. We are doing what we’ve done since 2006, which is changing the shapes and lives of our members. Okay, end rant. Back to our challengers and their feedback:

“A GREAT place full of supportive and challenging instructors and positive, hard working attitudes. Doesn’t get any better! :)” This from one of our challengers who came rain or shine and went from fumbling her way through her first cardio class to straight-up owning it by the end.

Individual results are just that – individual – but the proud excitement on the faces of our challengers at the wrap-up last weekend said it all. People were hitting their goals and we can’t overstate how proud we are to be along for the ride.

Congratulations to EVERY challenger who started and to those of you who finished. There is no quick or easy fix to weight loss or a better physique or a faster mile. You just put in the work. And we hope you’ll continue to put in some of that work with your crew at Freestyle.
