The first week of Freestyle’s first fitness challenge of 2015 is already in the books and we are PUMPED. More than fifty of you (!!) embraced this eight-week challenge and you guys are kiiiiilling it already. Classes are packed, energy is high, enthusiasm is bubbling over and yeah, okay, maybe there are some combos to perfect (cardio kickboxing takes some practice, let’s be real) but you know what we say – just keep moving! We asked for feedback from your first week, and we got it!
Here’s what you guys are saying:
- Overall, I am VERY pleased this week. Had energy, enjoyed my meals and the classes. Down two pounds and my pants already feel better. Great tips that made a big difference.
- I’m sore in a great way and feeling great!
- I’m loving the experience at Freestyle Fitness and all the positive attitudes and encouragement from everyone. My body is sore, especially my legs, arms and abs, but it feels good. I actually went on the scale the other day and I was happy because although I didn’t lose ay weight and stayed the same, for once in my life I did not care about the number I was seeing because I feel FABULOUS and I have such a huge amount of energy that I never had before.
- The good: making deliberate choices for fitness and healthy eating. The bad: seeing how weak my core is, although I’m optimistic about the progress I’ll make. The ugly: me trying to catch up when I get lost int the steps! Overall I’m very happy my friend asked me to join her in doing this!
- Prep day has made my life so much easier, I can’t believe I didn’t do this before! I’m saving more money on groceries and I’m not stressing over dinner every night while eating healthy… TOTAL WIN!!
As we move forward and the novelty of working hard and eating well starts to fade, keep your eyes on the prize. These eight weeks are going to pass no matter what you do, and you committed yourself when you (very bravely) signed up for this challenge. So challenge yourself. Embrace the hard work. Soak up the encouragement – and pay it forward! If you notice change in your fellow challengers, let them know.
