Over on the Freestyle Martial Arts Academy site, they’re talking up the 11th annual Freestyle Summer Picnic. And guess what, fitness crowd? You’re all invited!

Here’s a little background – every summer for the last ten years, the Freestyle family has come together not to train, or to sweat, or to work, but to sit and eat and relax at a summer picnic. We call it the Freestyle Summer Picnic (clever, no?) and it’s happening again this Saturday at 11am.

We gather at Manzanita Park for good food and good company and – fair warning – maybe a water gun fight too. Our annual picnics are potluck celebrations, and you may have seen sign-up sheets at the front desk. Sign up to bring something, and then show up with the whole family this Saturday at 11. The fun runs until around 3 pm, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the families of all your training buddies.
